Cluster Development Programme
To encourage cluster approach and to improve the global competitiveness of the domestic industries situated in clusters in identified locations, Government of India have been implementing various schemes to cater the different needs of the clusters. The schemes include
1. Industrial Infrastructure Upgradation Scheme
2. Small Industry cluster Development Programme
1. Industrial Infrastructure Upgradation Scheme:
The salient features of the "Industrial Infrastructure Up-gradation Scheme" are given below:

Govt. of India has sanctioned the following proposals from Andhra Pradesh:
Pharma Cluster, Hyderabad:

M/s Fergusson & Co prepared detailed Project Report.

Project Report was appraised by Infrastructure Development Finance Company Ltd.

This Project will be implemented by a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) formed by the Stakeholders, of which Commissioner of Industries, A.P. is a member of the Board of Directors.

Auto Components Cluster, Vijayawada:

Detailed Project Report was prepared by APITCO and appraised by IDBI Ltd.

Special Purpose Vehicle-Vijayawada Auto Cluster Development Company Ltd.(VACDCL) has been formed

Detailed Estimates have been prepared for construction of Storm Water Drains, Drinking Water Supply Scheme and Cement Roads and approval have been obtained form Government.

M/s Satyavani Projects have been appointed as Project Management Consultants for execution of infrastructure related works in Auto Cluster, Vijayawada.
-
SPV has entered into an MoU with APIIC for transfer of APIIC assets in Vijayawada Auto Nagar to the SPV for execution of the works by SPV.
